I respect Mike Ness. He's an honest musician who's really truthful about what he does. However, I don't like how he handles his voice. To compensate for singing relatively low tones, he makes it...Damn, my vocabulary fails me, um...I don't know, scruffier? It's like he grunts slightly to put more power into his voice, and I hate that.Around 2:32 in the SD-song "Reach for the sky", he sings "Moment" without the scruffiness. It sounds to awewsome. He should do that more.Great song, this one!

Mike Ness has made a career of telling great stories that have relavance in everyone's lives. Heartbreak, distress, youth's choices, etc. He does a wonderful job of painting pictures of the human condition. I hope he keeps writing music until the end. This is a great jam.

Mike's voice is unique. Just like Bob Dylan's is unique. I love both of their voices by the way.

Great song even if I am not 100 % satisfied about the singer's voice. He is singer far too low for his own best :)
